Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses and the state’s community colleges have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities in Pennsylvania and removing barriers to degree completion among college students. The collaboration builds upon long-standing relationships between the campuses and the community colleges and a shared commitment to access and affordability in higher education.
The last week of February 2024 still offers a few events across campuses for Black History Month, including at Penn State Brandywine, Harrisburg, Dickinson Law, Lehigh Valley, Shenango, and York. The ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex lived between approximately 68 to 66 million years ago, but a team of researchers that includes a Penn State Lehigh Valley professor has identified a new species of Tyrannosaurus that dates back even further — essentially an ancestor of the fearsomely named "tyrant lizard king.” They published their finding in Scientific Reports.
